Welcome to Clergy Craftsman, a brand-new blog devoted to learning the craft of ministry. I’ve created this blog for pastors who, like myself, want to lead and minister well. My goal is to add as much value as I can to my fellow clergymen and learn as much as I can along the way.
As you probably noticed, this website doesn’t have many posts. Never fear, the blog is just getting up and running. There will be plenty more content coming in the future. I’ll be adding a new post about once a week and will be adding resources to help us hone our ministry skills.
In the meantime, check out the first posts, hear my story, or read my latest publications with Relevant Magazine and Christianity Today. Then come along with me on this journey by subscribing to Clergy Craftsman!
“Like any skilled artisan or craftsman, a pastor learns by both observation and doing. He learns his trade by practicing his craft. He is habituated—shaped and formed into a shepherd of souls…” –Harold Senkbeil, The Care of Souls
